Breed Overview

Border Collies are an intelligent and energetic breed of dog renowned for their skill in herding sheep and other livestock. Border Collies have an iconic coat with either short or long hair, thick fur, and a variety of colors, with the most common being black and white and red and white. These dogs originated in the Anglo-Scottish border in the 1600s and were bred as working dogs.

Care and Grooming
